ROY SHIRLEY, LPC

Roy Shirley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Life Coach.
He holds a MS in Counseling from Old Dominion University
and a Master of Arts of Religion from Westminster Theological Seminary.
He has done graduate study at Temple University
in group dynamics and organizational development.

Through the Crisis Care Network, he has provided critical incident
debriefing and interventions where traumatic incidents have occurred.
This work began in the aftermath of the September 11 crisis
and more recently he assisted with the Sandy Hook shootings in Connecticut. 
Roy has consulted to various community and faith related organizations
and churches, both nationally and internationally.

He was co-founder of Life Resource Associates, Inc., which provided services
to organizations in areas of human services, including team building,
organizational development, leadership development, and conflict resolution.
He also co-founded Cornerstone, where he provides marriage, family and group counseling
and where he leads retreats and workshops on topics related to
understanding and embracing your unique story and for men’s topics
related to male spirituality and their life journey.
Roy has completed a certificate in spiritual direction
through the Spiritual Direction for Spiritual Guides training program
at Oasis Ministries in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
